Mission Statement (first draft 11/2005)

We are the Bell Committee of the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church located in Kennebunk Maine (USA). We are here to promote information and education about bells, their maintenance and repair.

We have learned much since our inception during the summer of 2002. As of November 2005, our current members are Dick Hawes (chairperson), Kirk Smallman, John Lehmus, Peter Ashley and Sol Cohen. We are open to new members aligned with our goals and aspirations.

We also offer items for sale ie: Note Cards and Calendars and display examples of these on this web site. The profits go towards our efforts as set forth in our mission statement.

One or more of our committee members may be available on a consultation basis. We would only ask for travel expense, room and board (if needed), plus an "offering" specifically for our Bell Committee. Please contact our chairperson using the comments page. Thank You.
